We're expecting heavy rainfall into tomorrow and that will cause river levels to rise on the River Sychryd & River Mellte with water levels possibly reaching 0.60 meters, which could be hight than acceptable levels for the River Mellte.
If using the area, check river levels constantly, with 0.55 meters being volatile on the Mellte and erratic on the River Sychryd. Also ensure you are aware of rain fall in the mountain regions of South Wales.

There's little swell on Friday and Sunday so surfing will be possible but you may find the decent waves hard to come by. Saturday sees the swell increasing along South Wales' coast but the wind will also be stronger with strong gusts, so head to the more sheltered bays such as Coney Beach in Porthcawl or Langland and Caswell in Swansea.
We'll be heading into the Brecon Beacons this weekend running activities for a couple of groups from Cardiff. If conditions allow we'll be taking them Canyoning but if not then we'll be running our Gorge Walking activities which will still give them plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves and for us to get some great photos too.
