Canyoning is an oustanding event with adventure and challenges included, stunning scenery, plunge pools, rapids, waterfalls, cascades, scrambling, traversing, climbing, swimming, small, medium and larger plunge pool jumps. Canyoning is our most popular adventure activity and caters for all adventures up for a physical and challenging adventure.

Set in the beautiful waterfall mountain regions of the Brecon Beacons National Park . Canyoning has everything anyone would want to experience in outdoor adventure is the most spectaular environment. Leaps, crawls, climbs, swims, traverses, jumps adventure and challenges for all levels and requirements more activities, harder challenges, more effort, greater adventure.
The event will consist of white water swimming, flowing rapids , descents, plunge pool drops, traversing, scrambling, climbs, low / medium and the larger jumps all set in the spectacular Waterfalls of South Wales.
An absolute favorite with adults, teenagers, families, friends, parties, stag groups, hens parties, companies, military groups and all adventurers. Just 50 minutes from Cardiff, 30 minutes from Swansea, 30 mins from Porthcawl, 20 minutes from Brecon town itself and 45 minutes from Hereford.
Who is Canyoning Suitable For?
Canyoning is one of the most popular activities for teenage and adult individuals we offer and set in the mountain waterfalls region in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it consists of wild swimming in rivers, scrambling, rapid flows, traversing, river walking, low and higher level plunge pool jumps and is situated in a breath taking mountain environment.
You do not need to be able to swim to take part and several parts of the activity are optional including the jumps, crevisis and certain swims. As an individual we can book you in with another group of people to become cost effective on request.
You will be provided all the required safety equipment for any Canyoning activity, including a buoyancy aid, thick wetsuit and helmet and our experienced guides can alter the activity to cater for different levels. If you are particularly nervous around water and in remote areas please get in touch and we can go through the whole event in more detail with you.
What Should I Bring Canyoning?
We will provide all of the required safety equipment for all Canyoning activities including thick wetsuit, buoyancy aid and safety helmet, all of which are checked and fitted by your safety guide.
All you need to bring is something to wear under the wetsuit – shorts, swimming costume, base layer, etc, optionally a pair of shorts to wear over the wetsuit, a towel, sturdy pair of lace up trainers or boots and a positive adventurous attitude.
Persons taking medication should also bring the adequate supply for the duration of the activity.
Where Does Canyoning Take Place?
Our Canyoning activities are held in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales. The sites are easily reached from Cardiff (approx. 50 mins), Swansea (approx. 30 mins), Porthcawl (approx. 30 mins) and Brecon Town (about 20 mins).
We meet you at the site itself, so no need to come to the centre for the equipment wasting time and comfort on your event.
If required we can arrange transport for your group at reduced contract rates with a local bus company.
