Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 25th October 2021 -Heavy rain over the past few hours and constant rain over a few days. The river levels at the moment are still good and the rivers and waterfalls are in full flow. At .44 meters on the Mellte river the levels are good for Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling and Canyoning in the local areas close to Cardiff, Swansea and the Brecon Beacons. There is more rain predicted over the next few days and into the weekend and water levels must be monitored to asses whether the gorge and canyoning activities are suitable. There may be debris in the rivers due to the heavier rainfall and the stormier conditions, caution should be taken to observe the debris in the rivers especially after the heavier rain in the next few days.
