Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 17th March 2021 - Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning and gorge walking activities are all looking good for the next few days and well into next week. The land has been wet and the rivers are flowing but the rain is holding off. This will give good conditions for the gorge events in the rivers and canyons close to Cardiff, Swansea in the brecon Beacons in South Wales. Temperatures are still low so effective protection should be worn at all times. The government lock down policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.
Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 17th March 2021- Coasteering around the South Wales coastline area will definetly be dependant on the site. There is a constant swell this week but will still mean areas such as Caswell Bay in Swansea should be good but other more exposed sites will not be suitable. Swells are between 5 - 2 foot and pretty constant especially on the incoming tides. Wind looks good and conditions looking good so need to be assessed on a daily basis.
