WEATHER - Varied weather through the next few days with very high Westerly winds, heavy and light rain patches and temperatures around the 6 - 10 degrees level. Thursday will see the worst weather with heavy rain and gale force Westerly winds. Friday is looking dryer but winds still gale force and again from the West. Saturday will have light rain and Westerly Winds up to 45 mph. Temperatures will stay around the 9 - 7 degrees through the days. The wind will be dropping into next week and moving in from the South. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2648385?day=2) (https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcjqmsw80

EXPECTED RIVER LEVEL OVER NEXT 72 HOURS - .54 -meters - .55 meters

GORGE WALKING, GORGE SCRAMBLING, CANYONING CONDITIONS REPORT 12TH DECEMBER 2019 - Water levels are looking perfect at the moment at .54 meters on the river Mellte in the Western Brecon Beacons. The rain is looking heavy today though so river levels may pick up to affect the Canyoning first and then the gorge walking and gorge scrambling in the South Wales Brecon Beacons region. The rain will continue but lighter through the weekend and the week and water levels should be suitable for all events on the gorge. A close eye has to be kept on the rainfall due to the soden land and unpredictability of the rainfall over the next few days.

WIND -  Gale force winds again for the next few days up to 45 mph Westerlies for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday onwards the wind should start to weaken and drop to 10 mph by Tuesday and should start to come in from the South. Winds may change to South Easterlies going into Wednesday next week feeling fresher and colder.
SEA STATE and SWELL -  Gale force winds, high swells and huge surf again will mean the sea conditions are very rough for the next few days, especially on exposed Westerly facing beaches. Winds up to 45 mph Westerly and 16 foot swells will create stormy sea conditions up until Monday. Wind and swell will ease from Monday onwards creating choppy seas but not as stormy as the previous days. Calmest day should be Tuesday next week.

HIGH TIDE - Thursday 12th December 2019 - 6.23pm / 79.25 meters WATER TEMPERATURE - 11 DEGREES

COASTEERING CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, CARMARTHEN PREDICTED WEEKLY REPORT - Coasteering for another week is looking very unsuitable on the South Wales coastline. Huge swell, wind and surf will create very poor conditions for coasteering in the region. The only settled day may be Tuesday next week with lighter winds and lesser swell and surf. Still a good sized swell though so need to be very cautious for any sea based event this next few days.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES REPORT 06th December 2019 - Coasteering is definately out of the question all week, but gorge walking and gorge scrambling looking suitable as the river levels drop but canyoning is still looking unsuitable due to the high river levels across all rivers through out the region.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES REPORT 12th December 2019 - The weekend and following days are looking good for all gorge activities, Thursday could be volatile but the rest of the week onwards could be epic with full flowing rivers and cascading waterfalls. Coasteering on the other hand is not looking as good with huge winds, swells and surf. Probaly best to head off into the mountains.
