WEATHER - Again a busy week of weather to say the least, the incoming hurricane Lorenzo is causing havoc with the conditions. Gale force winds and rain for the next few days, especially high winds on Friday with 40mph Westerlies. Temperatures are around the 16 degrees mark through the week but high winds will make the weather feel colder. Rain every day but not severe, the main problem will be the wind with the average strength 30 mph and mainly from the West. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2648385?day=2) (https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcjqmsw80)

RIVER LEVEL and TEMPERATURE - .54 meters high and 8 Degrees (http://rloi.naturalresources.wales/ViewDetails?station=4121)
EXPECTED RIVER LEVEL OVER NEXT 72 HOURS - .54 meters - 1 meter

GORGE WALKING, CANYONING, GORGE SCRAMBLING CARDIFF AND SWANSEA PREDICTED REPORT - The river levels are .54 meters at the moment which should be good for Canyoning and the river levels should drop up until Thursday afternoon so all gorge activities including Gorge Walking, Gorge scrambling and Canyoning will good for a day or two. After Thursday the rivers will start to rain with the incoming rainfall predicted. Canyoning will be the first activity which is unsuitable and the rivers will keep rising depending on the level on the rainfall. Gorge walking and Gorge Scrambling will have to be monitored on a daily basis due to the saturated land and constant rainfall which is impossible to predict at the moment. We will update on conditions through the week.

WIND -  Very strong winds again this week especially on Friday up to 40mph Westerlies. Every other day will have high winds including Thursday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all up to 30mph at parts of the day. Direction of the winds will mainly be Westerly and South Westerly with the occasional Northerly.
SEA STATE and SWELL -  Stormy seas this week especially on the higher Westerly wind days including Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Hugh swells on Friday and Tuesday with upto 16 foot swells on Friday and 10 foot on Tuesday. No real let up on the sea state except for the odd break in the wind on certain days.
