Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales:  The rule for this week is watch the weather, the rivers are on their maximum at the moment and anymore rain may put them over the edge. We have already had to cancel our Swift water Rescue course in Llandysul due to the river levels, so the next couple of days should be OK on the Mellte and Sychryd Rivers but the weekend is predicting heavy rains, so not looking good at the moment for the weekend for Canyoning, Gorge Walking and Gorge Scrambling.

Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - Again I am sorry to say this is a defibnate NO GO!! the winds are huge, the swell is huge and the conditions are just all wrong for Coasteering. This has been the case for the last couple of weeks, but the winter weeks usually bring the bad weather and the bad conditions for coasteering. Hopefully the weather and swell will calm down for the future on the coast.

Surfing, Surf Kayaking and Paddle Boarding - The swell if huge this week again so time to get your board and head down the coast. Be warned however the swell is BIG so you must surf within your experience and knowledge, the more experienced surfer may head to Llangenith in Swansea and Rest Bay in Porthcawl nearest to Cardiff, but there will also be a good and safer wave on Coney Beach in Porthcawl and Caswell Bay in Swansea.

Events and Activities - Stag weekend activities still going strong at the moment, even with the weather definitely on the downward spriral. The rivers are high but should be good for the Carl and the lads on their Stag weekend in Cardiff, so we'll be heading into the mountains for Gorge Walking on the Saturday.
