Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 21st March 2022 - Rivers close to Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, Bridgend, Camarthen and across South Wales are running low at the moment. There has been very little rainfall over the past few days and the rivers are flowing steady. All gorge walking, gorge scrambling, canyoning events and activities are suitable in all rivers and all areas. River levels must be assessed constantly to make sure there are safe water levels in the region for the events. The swell is low and the winds mainly offshore. The sea conditions will be suitable mainly 2 hours before the high tide and 1 hour after high tide.
