Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 20th January 2021 - Huge rivers at the moment and met office warnings across South Wales. At present there is no possibility of gorge walking, gorge scrambling and canyoning. The weather is getting calmer and dryer through the week and the rivers should drop. This could accommodate conditions for gorge activities on the lower Sychryd gorge but definitely unsuitable conditions for Canyoning. The rivers will drop through the week and possibility of Canyoning but rivers would have to drop substantially. The government lock down policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.
Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 20th January 2021- South Wales areas will be under pressure with high winds and large swells and rough sea conditions. Conditions may calm into next week but stay volatile for the next few days with no possibility of coasteering at all sites close to Cardiff, Swansea, Neath, Llanelli, camarthen. Open Water Sea Swimming Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales 20th January 2021 - Wild swimming in the South Wales area will be affected by high winds and big swells. Winds are in several directions and in the North direction for a few days. Sheltered bays in the area will be the best such as Cold Knap in Barry, areas will need to be protected from the bigger swell conditions. The government lock down policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.

SEA STATE and SWELL - Next couple of days will see very storm sea states with high winds and big swells. The sea conditions will be volatile for the next two days but then start to calm from Friday on wards. May turn stormy again going into next week.
