Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 07th January 2021 - Gorge Walking, Gorge scrambling and Canyoning are all allowable for the next few days and into next week. River levels are low with limited rainfall over the past week. The rainfall is coming in over the weekend and into next week and the rivers will rise but not significantly therefore river levels should be perfect for the gorge events across the region close to Cardiff, Swansea and the Brecon Beacons. The government lock down policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.
Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 07th January 2021- The next few days should see very good conditions for Coasteering in the South Wales region. Moderate to light winds and very small swells should give perfect conditions for coasteering. This will be changing on Tuesday and Wednesday next week when the wind turns to Westerlies and the swell gets up to 5 foot. The water is very cold so full protective equipment should be used at all sites in South Wales and across the UK. SEA STATE and SWELL - Winds are moderate over the next few days and predominately North Westerly. The winds will change on Monday on wards to Westerlies. The sea will be rougher with the change of winds from Monday on wards. Swell will also be bigger and sea state more volatile.
