Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 08th October 2020 - The rivers are very high at the moment and gorge walking, gorge scrambling and canyoning are all not advisable at the moment due to the height and speed of the rivers. Extreme caution must be taken over the next few days in the gorge areas due to the conditions. River levels will drop over the next few days as the rain eases across the region.

Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 08th October 2020 - No real chance of coasteering for the next couple of days with high winds and big swells across South Wales. The best day would be Monday 12th October when the swell and the wind eases.

Open Water Swimming Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales 08th October 2020 - Open water areas in the region will be subject to high winds and large swells which will create stormy conditions and not great for Open water conditions. The better areas will be those protected from inshore winds and may be better in areas where the Northerly winds are offshore on certain days. Better sites may be Whitmore Bay and Cold Knap in Barry as the areas are more protected and Coney Beach in Porthcawl.
