Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales:  Well what can I say, we must have prayed too hard for the rain. We have more rain and water than we know what to do with now. The Canyoning and the Gorge Walking events are looking a little bit scetchy to say the least, the rivers are too high at the moment for a safe passage down the rivers. So unless you are in a Kayak I would advise to avoid the rivers at the moment and with more rain forecast it snot looking good at all.

Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - Just no that's all I can say, don't even think about it, huge winds, huge swells, huge tides in fact I wouldn't even look at the coast from the shore in some locations for fear of being dragged into the water.

Surfing, Surf Kayaking and Paddle Boarding - Could be fantastic, could be life threatening depends on where you go and at what time. The storm Abigail has bought along huge swells, but also very strong winds, this is definately a time for the sheltered beaches near Cardiff and Swansea, such as Coney beach in Porthcawl and Caswell Bay in Swansea. This beaches should have good surf and possibly on the dropping tide rather than the incoming as normal. It really depends how experienced you are in big surf conditions because trust me there is going to be big surf!

Events and Activities - This week we have been a little bit limited, the Rivers are too high at the moment for Canyoning and Gorge Walking and the seas are too rough for Coasteering so looks like mountain walking, climbing and surfing are our main options, but we definitely have enough activities to offer James and the lads with us on their Stag weekend in Cardiff, the boys will be upto the usual fun and games in Cardiff City centre before heading over to Porthcawl to meet us for the day of fun and adventure.
