Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: FINALLY!!!! The rain is back YEAH!! The river levels are higher and the rivers are flowing again, we really have missed the rain in the breacon Beacons over the last few weeks but now its back which means the waterfalls are flowing again and Canyoning and Gorge Walking events are back on full flow. The water is always cold so no difference there but you will have to start layering more as the surface temperature gets colder.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - Theres only one word for Coasteering in the Cardiff and Swansea area at the moment and that is NO!! The swell and the wind is high at the moment which means the Coasteering areas are two volatile to get in and out of the water safely. Look for an alternative I suggest Surfing or Paddle Boarding
Surfing, Surf Kayaking and Paddle Boarding -These events look good for the next few days and into the future, the swell is between 3 - 5 foot at the moment and in areas where they are protected from the wind such as Coney Beach near to Cardiff and Caswell Bay near to Swansea there is good clean swell. Need to keep an eye on the wind to make sure it dosen't get to high to mess up the waves on the exposed sections.
Events and Activities -This weekend we are hosting a range of events and we cant wait to take glenn and Max up into the Brecon Beacons Waterfalls region for there Canyoning and Gorge Walking Events, they were originally booked in for Coasteering but with the conditions in the sea its definately better to head up to the Gorge. The lads are on a Stag Weekend in Cardiff for the sins, so will have a fantastic time sampling this beautiful country and all it has to offer.
