Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales:What were we thinking!! Please, Please stop raining we have had enough now and the rivers have had enough. I cant believe its August seems more like February, rain, wind and more rain. 14 degrees what is happening to the world. Hopefully if its stops raining today and tomorrow then the rivers will be high but good for the Canyoning and Gorge Walking. At the moment they are too high but we should be OK for the weekend. Im watching the rainfall radars on an hourly basis. Its looking good as the rain is easing and thats all we care about. What ever happens you must be guided in the rivers over the next few days as they are going to be treacherous if you don't know what your doing.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - Well believe it or not but after the weekend the coasteering is looking good to go, the winds down, the swells down and the storms are looking calm. So could be the time to get your wet gear on and get in the water off the cliffs. The weekend is a definate NO GO as the swell is to big as well as the wind but Monday onwards is definitely looking good. All areas are working including Ogmore, Caswell and Muslade.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking - We have had Surf for weeks now but also terrible weather and high winds but there has been surf in most places. That will stay for the weekend across the region especially Caswell bay in Swansea and Coney Beach in Porthcawl in between Cardiff and Swansea. Monday onwards is Flat however so enjoy the surf while it lasts and keep your fingers crossed for September and October.
Events and Activities - We have a massive weekend coming up over the bank holiday, we have 5 Stag groups with us staying in Cardiff, Swansea and Porthcawl on there Stag weekend activities. We also have familes, hen parties and a group of lads just up for a laugh. We will be running Canyoning, Gorge Walking, Canyoning, Coasteering, Surfing, Raft Racing and Kayaking over the next few days, so watch this space for all the fun and games over the weekend.
