Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales: We'll I am lost for words for once, the weather is freezingcold, the wind is blowing but THERES NO RAIN!! Whats the point of dodgy weather if it dosen't come with our wonderful rain! The rivers still have water in them from last week thankfully so the waterfalls and the rivers are running nicely for all canyoning and Gorge Walking Activities. Next week we are looking at further patchy weather with Rain and Wind hopefully alot of rain and mainly in the evening and really warm in the day, well that would be perfect.
Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - Coasteering is held as usual to the same factors, wind, tide and swell and the wind is gusting and the swell is quite consistant so a varied week again for the Coasteering enthusiast. Look out for the next couple of days when the wind and swell are low, these could be the best options to get on the cliffs and the water. Later in the week the swell is picking up making the event more and more dangerous for cliff based exits, so the plan is early is looking better.
Surfing and Surf Kayaking - Again theres Surf all week but there is also wind, so the two might force main westerly facing beaches out of action, but when the wind drops the surf should be good on Llangenith and Rest Bay in Porthcawl. If these beaches are big and blown out then possibly Coney Beach, Langland and Caswell bay might be better options.
Events and Activities - Well our activites are not slowing or quietening down in any way at the moment, we have groups coming to us from all over the country and this weekend is no exception. We firstly have two Stag Groups staying in Cardiff. Both groups will be with us Canyoning on the Saturday so both Bryn and Keiran will be looking for a big weekend Canyoning. Sunday we have Jane and the family over Gorge Walking looking for so fun in the summer holidays in the Brecon Beacons. There instructors will be Dyfed, Lee, Greg and Jarrod.
